Canon is shifting to the next revision by offering Canon VIXIA HF M41 models that have a similar relationship Canon HF M31 units. The Canon HF M41 is the choice for those that need extra storage capacity, but comparing Canon HF M31 there will be some surprises in some of the changes.

Canon HF M41 design and interface has no significant different with Canon HF M31. It’s okay as most customer prefer simplicity and enjoy control layout on the top. The record button is found just at the back and the power button can be used to turn off the camcorder and close the built-in cover simultaneously.
Canon HF M41 has 32GB internal flash memory, its remains the same as its predecessor, with this capacity you can record video up to 12hours. This camcorder also features dual SDXC- compatible memory card slots. The Relay Recording feature still exists so all of the capacities combine so that continuous recording is possible as long as there is available space in one of the memory cards.
The new big enhancement focuses on video quality. VIXIA HF M41 can obtain 1080p images and record Full HD video. With the new HD CMOS Pro Image Sensor, the low-light performance is noticeably better and wider dynamic ranges are now accessible. It works well with the Smart Auto feature that automatically detects the scene and tries to pick the top adjustments and that sometimes fixes its color accuracy shortcomings.
Canon’s DIGIC DV III Image Processor provides stunningly realistic color and sophisticated noise reduction for exceptional low-light performance. the VIXIA HF M41 allows you to capture 30 photos from one second of video and the sensitivity of HD CMOS Pro is approximately 25% better than the Full HD CMOS sensor in the 2010 VIXIA HF S-series.
