How is a digital camera completely different from a film digicam? What are pixels and why are they essential? What’s the distinction between optical and digital zoom? What benefits do digital cameras have in comparison with movie cameras? Let’s address these and different questions as we talk about digital camera technology.

First a short history and overview of digital imaging…

The technology started with television within the early 1950’s when researchers discovered how you can convert video images to electrical signals for storage on magnetic tape. The number of pixels the sensor produces is vital, but so is the quality. The Way forward for Digital Images

The last few years have seen large advancement in digital imaging technology.
