Membership is by subscription or by invitation.

When the membership is closed, subscription will only be possible by invitation from a current site member.

This method of subscription for membership is ideal for members to earn a little extra cash when they invite a business partner or are servicing their own client base by using the Very Small Business sites. This happens because no current member can offer a subscription to a potential new member without site admin approval for additional memberships.

Subscription rates will increase to $29.00 on September 1st 2009 and to $59.00 as of 01 January 2010. These are Annual rates, not monthly rates. Right now a subscription allows you to publish a business profile, publish up to 5 articles for your business and have a 468×60 banner placed at one the VSB Ad sites. Article publication will be increased to unlimited, once the article section is upgraded with a new theme for multiple publishers.
